(more) Every small business hasn’t really been able to take advantage of expense elimination before!  Their minds were consistently on offensive money( sales of their product) and not on defensive money( reduction or elimination of expenses)! I have been assisting businesses for 8 years with expense reduction or eliminations as well as have seen best practices for increased sales of a specific product! It’s hard to change when you think you are doing things right.  Many times I encounter a business owner who doesn’t want to save money and in 3-6 months the doors are locked and a for lease sign is up?  Owners are stubborn and like their ideas to win the day!  Fine but when your opportunity to put any extra money into the profit side of the business you should do so no matter what! Hire slowly and fire quickly!  Your vendors, advertisers, web site developers, and other outside services all can be changed and will always have a better option to do the job!  It’s the nature of business!  There is always better to bring to the business! I hope the environment that is causing financial hardship starts to change and people can move forward and profit!  If any business reads this and is looking to test my ability I’m more than happy to have a conversation and give them time to see if it makes sense?  If there is no change you quit my services having paid me nothing and having not cost the business any money at all!  Be well and keep working to improve the business you operate!

I’ve tried the paid route to get viewed and converse with more businesses but that didn’t bear fruit like it was made out to be.  I tried the regular free way and it’s increasingly hard to see messages as they don’t get to me for days not allowing the service to bear fruit for my business.  I’m... The silver lining for my business is that businesses have now less traffic and less business to handle their plans for the future to make changes.  Since nothing lasts forever getting on to changes that help improve the business are needed.  My business uses that future improvement to make more... (more) Every business has a financial officer.  Every quarter to manage the business properly said manage seeks out other businesses to improve/do a service to improver their bottom line.  A completed job is a matter of perspective.  One persons “ok” cheaper service is as good or better than someone’s elite/more expensive service.  There is no such thing as you get what you pay for!  Anyone can look good is a classy suit whether you spend $80 or $800!  The difference in suits is preference and $720!  A person will never grow their business or increase their wealth by overpaying for it because they think because it costs more it’s better!

(more) The profits and losses of your business should only be shared with employees in generalities!  “Real quick before we start the work day team, we are severely short of our goal for the month so we want those bonuses”!!!  Or “Great news gang we are still ahead of our goal for the month and the more we pull in the larger those bonuses will be”!  You never tell them you are going broke or are making 10 times what they are!  They work for you they understand if business is booming or slumping!

Debra, nothing stops me from hiring a consultant!  Everyone has great ideas and different ways to operate better!  If a new consultant with a similar style asks me to hire them I might change if I need to operate better as the times change!  All I know is my friends, family, and a dude I chatted... (more) Debra, nothing stops me from hiring a consultant!  Everyone has great ideas and different ways to operate better!  If a new consultant with a similar style asks me to hire them I might change if I need to operate better as the times change!  All I know is my friends, family, and a dude I chatted up while waiting for my food at a food truck have given me great advice to improve my business and they aren’t even in the consultation business?  The best this was they all improved my business in one form or another!  That’s why change is so powerful, it creates growth!

(more) I go directly into my clients business to introduce myself and do my best to show my services against the current services!  It’s always worked well for me being direct versus spending time and energy advertising.  I’ve always even under the belief that in the last 20 years the marketplace is over saturated with advertising for dozens of companies that do the same thing.  Going right in and showing a prospective client or business owner in my case that I’m here in your community and I am willing to be visible it goes a long way to credibility and transparency!
