Do you feel an upcharge for a food item at a restaurant should be disclosed to the customer prior to ordering the item?

If you want something and care that there is an upcharge you should ask, no one likes being nickled and dimed but I don't either. We can either charge a higher price for the entree and give more options free or have a lower price and upcharge for certain things. You don't get a discount if you don't take the offered items tho......so we are criticised either way!!
