Other than traditional (printed) business cards, what creative ways are you using to exchange information with potential clients or networking contacts when meeting in-person?

When it comes to meeting in person, personality is a BIG factor. Just because you're good at a job doesn't mean that people will want to deal with you, especially if you have a sour personality. Customer services revolves around good communication skills in every field. That being said, the communication is another BIG factor. Relaying to your customers what's happening in "down to Earth" terms makes them feel more secure of what's going on and how confident they are in your correcting their problem.
Now, what makes the ultimate customer service? Knowledge. Knowing your profession or product backwards and forwards with a smile on your face and a good personality will almost imprint "SUCCESS" on your forehead as you meet new customers. It's not how you dress. It's not how well you can make them laugh. (That's for the dating scene.)
In the long run, you can print up a million business cards and pass them out like candy, but the "word of mouth" will ALWAYS be your best asset. If you pass out your cards to a group of 5 people randomly in one room and just ONE of them gives you a bad review, those other 4 cards most likely won't get you very far.
