It wasn’t a person but a overall situation.  I had noticed that  I had reached my ceiling as far as job title and compensation. There was a layoff at my last corporate job that I was going to be involved in.  Thankfully I had a good relationship with my boss and he gave me a few weeks heads up that it was coming.  In that timeframe I started looking for similar jobs and I found that I would have to go further into the city just to stay at the level at which I was at the time.  I had already been performing of my business on a part-time basis in the evenings and weekends so I figured it was a good time to try it full-time. It all worked out.
