I've learned over the yrs. that this is the best policy to operate your firm under.  And, this policy has served me & my teams well over the yrs. as the people in my teams will tell you; this is how we build a winning team. All for one; and, one for all.  There is no "I"..in Team.  But, unfortunately..Not all Mgrs. are Mentored by this "Team Building Approach"....There are those that adhere to the "Me Concept" that has this current millennial population a tad bit confused as to which school of thought is best to follow.  I was fortunate when I came up in this industry and I listened intently when "old-school engineers & architects" invited me to share in their great work and accomplishments as well as, services and  capacities.  But, humility is a difficult thing to learn if you are not brought up by people that have it.  I firmly believe that one must have humility in order to be able to recognize that as they mature in this industry or any industry...You have to know that part of your overall job now is to teach and mentor young talent; and, do not expect anything in return while you are doing it.  Its part of the Law of Giving Back to the Community; our Social Responsibility....As it were.
