Interesting 🤔 people seem to be saving the stimulus checks or paying down debt. So how does that help?

Reason for poor credit need to tBe examined.
If business can not provide cash flow to pay necessary debts, both short and long term. If they both exist. Time to try to sell or liquidate.

If problem is short term based on accounts receivable or market conditions, my need to refinance house or liquidate other assets to put capital in business.
Would prefer putting personal assets in business than taking on partners or investors for obvious reasons. Unless you need out side skill to help run the business, invest what assets you have.

Are you as a subcontractor easy to be replaced? If so, look to replace the account and let it become someone else’s problem. Are you a critical supplier? If so, now you possibly have “leverage” .If the account is more than 10% of your business and the late payments are affecting cash flow, you may want to offer a discount for early or prompt payment. ie. 2% ten days. At the same time try to increase other accounts or bring in new accounts to decrease reliance on the slow paying account.Thisis just a few thoughts to get your mind in the correct place.

That answer implies that so called "free time" is spent on business activities that you don't highly prioritize in the day to time spent running your small business.
