February is the lowest amount of burglaries in a calendar year things generally slow down with less breakins
Our Service business (Window Cleaning, Pressure washing and Gutter Cleaning) slow way down Late December thru the end of February. But my Online digital marketing is busy year round with the beginning of the year being the busiest. People are planning how to explode their business and if the Internet is part of the plan we usually get the call. Dominating the internet is my specialty.
Winter is the " slowest " for me as a REALTOR, but this Winter has been different! Much more activity in the market. I love it! I focus on family, marketing materials and education when things are slower. But after 15 years in real estate, I am rarely ever that slow!
Winter time, need good weather
We are diversified in services, so we stay overwhelmingly busy year round, but the services in demand vary. For example, independent therapeutic services lower in the summer, higher the rest of the year. Party events fluctuate around different school schedules, and major events. Research services are slowest late November through January. Online services are pretty steady year round. Individual training services tend to drop around other school quarter/semester finals periods, and drop during winter holiday season from late November through January 1st (though people sign up during these times, they often don't start taking their courses until first week of January). While employer paid training services often peak around their fiscal year final quarter if they have "extra" money to pay for employees additional training vouchers, especially government agencies, and those other organizations that need to "spend everything to avoid cutbacks next year". Volunteer and community services are pretty steady year round, though highest peak during summer months.
We are a resendential lawn care service so typically we are the slowest December through February. Things can change for us depending on snow fall in our area but for the most part and espically revenue wise, the above mentioned months are mostly slow and quiet.
Summer is the slowest season for Massage therapy.
It varies. Usually after school starts in the fall is slower than the spring when new careers and college planning become important priorities for my clients.
Since we are in a church, I'll hit the busy seasons. Easter, church conference and Christmas. Its slow in between, giving us time to get detailing accomplished.
Usually January through March are slow for me and July and August are also, but then I sell art and it is a bit unpredictable.
