What is the greatest length you’ve gone to secure a deal or client?

My own time is the greatest thing I’ve given to secure a client. I have quantified what my time is worth in dollars so I know what it is worth. Businesses deal with people they trust. Stopping by from time to time tells a business not only that I am local to the area, but also that I’m not going to skip out on them once a sale is made. It cements the impression that I will be here when they need me even after the sale is done. Helping with little things like advice on whatever digital marketing they are already doing helps as well, but really it’s all about my time. I know that it is valuable, but a few hours checking in with prospects throughout the year or helping them out not expecting anything in return can lead to sales down the road. ...And if it doesn’t at least I’ve helped out!
