Working with the client until you close, you begin to feel as your family. You know more about them then there family may so I go with personal gifts touched by a bottle of wine. I dont buy bulk of the same gift to every client but go with something they need such as a microwave or toaster. If they dont need anything I perhaps take picture of them in front of the new home but then prior to close and unaware of what I am doing will get a nice clear drink coaster to where I can insert that picture. There pretty cool and inexpensive which is kinda the same as a picture in just a frame. But everyone in this world prolly has a picture within a frame but do they have a coaster with a picture and of them in front of their new home? Probably not and wouldn't bet on it. Until you given it which to me brings the personal touch and possibly repeat business down the road as most definitely the referrals. Small things in life bring the biggest results all around!
