The answer to weather delays is to build modular. Most of the construction is built inside. When brought outside they are wrapped in plastic. Since the average house is set in a day or two, you can time the set when you have a few days of good weather. Of course just after the set it is important to complete the exterior siding and trim. Asphalt shingle roofs are done at the factory and fitted during the set. You don't have to settle for the ugly, bland modular designs by going to a builder or factory.
