I have had some of my work hung in local businesses before. The best piece of advice I can give you is, make sure where you hang your work has the clientele you wish to attract. For example, being a newborn photographer...a great place for me to hang my work might be a gynecologist's office. I'm not sure what types of artwork you create, but spend some time deciding who your ideal client is and learning where they hang out. From there, approach those businesses with your win/win opportunity. Sell them on "free decor for their office" in exchange for exposure. Good luck!
