[Artists/Illustrators] Has Anyone Heard Anything The Tablet Called "Slate"?

I had not heard of Slate, but Googled it. Interesting, yet I don't know if I would have a use for it.

It has a horrible camera and the interface is garbage. It has a short battery life. Bought one and within a week gave it to a 3 year ild

Thanks for all the replies! I have not heard anything more about Slate and being since I posted my question I had to buy a new computer I am holding off on purchasing any type of tablet for now but will look into Slate & Wacom tablets when ready.
