1. Identify an ideal client to at least 7 dimensions

2. Determine where to get/create/buy/rent a list online/offline of those who match the profile you developed

3. Using what you learned in #1, create a compelling message that addresses their needs and makes them want to call you, visit your website, hear more, etc

4. Determine the best delivery tool to get your message to your ideal clients. It might be social media, snail mail, sky writing, etc.

5. Have a conversion system for those who 'raise their hands' in interest.

Your question is similar to a marketing expert saying 'how can I do an adjustment?' The real answer is- you probably can't without the training. Same for marketing.

Your market is sometimes dependent on your personal specialties and interests. Let your current patients learn about your interests and treatment skills and use them to broadcast to others. Talk about other areas of the body you love to treat besides the usual neck, back and spine. Get excited about new equipment and therapies you have added to your clinic that sets you apart and watch your market grow

Catherine, you received a lot of great answers here that can really be helpful to you. My suggestion is that you find a niche that you are passionate about and just serve them. Too many business owners try to be everything to everyone and end up being nothing to no one because their message is so diluted.

For me these are 6 fundamentals that ALL businesses MUST have to succeed.

1. Your market dominating position - what makes you different or unique

2. You must know who your ideal clients are - what are their hot buttons

3. You need to understand how your ideal clients make their buying decisions - it's not price.

4. What is your compelling message - answer the question "What's In It For Me?"

5. What is your strategic marketing program - not the tactical one that 99% of businesses use.

6. What is you sequential marketing program - your follow up program.

Can you answer all of these questions from your prospect's point of view? If you are interested let me know and I will do a complimentary 15 minute discovery session with you to get you a business breakthrough you can out into use right away.

I wish you all the success your business can possibly bring you. John

Hi Catherine, First thing you need to do is determine what kind of patient's you want to treat.

Do you want a family practice or a PI practice or do you want to treat kids and pregnant women or treat sports injuries. That's first. then get whatever extra training you need to be the specialist at that. then go after that crowd. I am a DACBR and practice A.K. My wife is a N.A.E.T. doctor and treats allergies full time. Once you are doing what you love , those patient's seem to find you.

One strategy that I have used is penetrating a business where one or more of my patients work. I will ask who organizes Health & Safety programs and work on giving a Lunch & Learn session tailored to the interests of the organization. If their are employees who spend a good amount of time on the road, I may do a talk on Fitness at 55 mph.

First off you must of course , determine what your philosophy is ? That will help you to determine your purpose , which it turn will tell you what group you like to work with and then and only then you can create your right marketing for that audience...

I really think you should define what the perfect patient is to you. Look at the characteristics you want them to have. Now ask yourself, how how many of them are you responsible for or can develop in them by being professional. Where are you lacking / maybe not as a doctor. Are you educating them, is your expertise in this type of condition, Once you define what the perfect audience is you can work on y our self and developing them to your right audience. Lets face it we want the right patient and they want the right doctor. Once that is in line you there will be Flo and they will come.

First, you need to identify what your ideal client is. Be specific. Also, be open to groups that aren't your absolute ideal, but close.

Once you establish that, figure out how that demographic responds to a particular type of communication. For example, Millennials use a ton of social media. If this is your group, then maybe keeping up your Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Website updated with some posts throughout the week. Don't do a million! If your group is more the senior group, be involved in different organizations that interest seniors. Talks work for me, as I don't push my business, but I educate you on topics that are relatable to my business. Same for young families.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

What is the right audience for you? You are a singer, do you want singers in your practice? Put ads in what they read, give talks on posture while singing, etc. It depends on what you want. If you want really healthy people, see if the local health food store will work with you. I'm not sure what your target is.

Decide what your strong features are that attract and will attract customers. Also, you can ask.your customers in person what they like and/or desire in person or on a survey on paper when they come in after first visit. Additionally, you can offer a specific freeservice to customers who bring in new customers.
