Consider using a Voice Over IP telephone service that has a number blocking feature. In extreme cases, the VOIP service can also be set up to not send a call to you if the caller did not enter a preset pin code (that you can send to the callers you want to hear from). If your using a cell, It is illegal to make Robocalls to a cell phone without express prior consent. There may be a blocking app for your phone available. Make sure you are on the FTC 'Do Not Call List' - Go to
https://www.donotcall.gov/ and enter your phone number. Another trick is when you answer and the Caller ID is not a familiar number, and you hear a long delay before they respond, the call is usually coming from a call center. If you hang up during the delay, they usually don't call back (right away) - this gives you time to block the number. Good luck!

We get these types of calls from 'google' (not actually google), from "we can save you money on...gas/electric/credit card processing etc." even opting out from the calls doesn't stop them. It is almost like a wave, we will have no unwanted phone calls for a few weeks and then all of a sudden its multiple times a day.
You cannot get rid of these. They are calling from spoofed numbers that look like they are local calls to you. As soon as you block one number they will call from another. It's a game of whack-a-mole. Unfortunately they are utilizing VOIP technology to display whatever number for caller ID they want regardless of where the calls originate. I have begged them to stop calling me to no avail. This is very disruptive to business because I will dump calls to grab these thinking it is a sales call.
There is a service called "Jolly Roger" where you can transfer these calls to a robot that sounds like they are talking to a real person. I have used this and it takes them several minutes to figure out they are speaking to a robot. It doesn't stop the calls but it did make my day a little brighter.
we have done several things. I answer the call and set the phone down - walk away. I block their numbers. They will eventually call from another number, but over time we have essential eliminated the annoyance.
No idea never had that issue. Who do you have for your phone service? Vonage. May your service can help you. If not switch. If it is Vonage that maybe the issue
Don't ask. Remind them it is illegal and that numbers have been recorded and will be forwarded to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and FCC Do Not Call list. Do so... --- Don't cuss and yell, yet be frustrated and demanding, while trying to be nice.
