If you are referring to post-grad hours to maintain state licenses, in Missouri you need 48 hours, broken down between actual seminars, on-line, and in-house studying, with an additional 12 hour class/seminar to keep your Meridian Therapy (acupuncture) license.

If you have a specialty such as Sports Medicine (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician Degree, CCSP) then it can be more hours needed. A CCSP needs 12 hours per year specific in Sports related C.E. on top of the 25 hours that Washington State requires. There are also other Chiropractic specialties such as Orthopedics, Neurology, Nutrition, Pediatrics, etc.

I practice in Florida. The number of hours in FL is 20 per year. It's different in each state.

Hello Jim. Depending upon the state, Chiropractors are required to take a minimum of 15-18 hours annually. Let me know if any further questions.
For continuing education licensure credit in Kansas requires 20 in class hrs/year. You are required to document 35 self study hrs per year also.
As a Diplomate in Sports Injuries, I take 24 hours of CEUs per year
