I think going to Etsy and selling along with farmers market and artist markets would help spread the work
I like social media for showcasing products and services. My business isn’t at home, but doesn’t have a visible storefront. I also have a written blog
Hi ..Consider an exterior sign and if
needed, a permit. Local advertising is beneficial...
Consider a local flier...Any community

groups..Churches, Chambers,library's
schools'colleges, to name a few...
First of all no one is going to buy something from someone they don’t know exists. You need to promote yourself and your talent online.

Sit down and determine who your ideal customer.  What do they look like? Where do they live? How old are they? How much money do they make? What are their hobbies? Once you’ve determined who your perfect customer is figure out where they gather, where they go online.

Facebook groups for football fans, if that’s the kind of helmet you paint, would be a great place to join. Don’t join and immediately start promoting your wares that feels like you  are only there to make money. Contribute to the conversations, Build a reputation, build relationships, and Show them what you do. If they’re good, people will want to buy them — they will beg to buy them.

Good luck.
Email blasts pics of your work on social media. Facebook ads find a good site to sell your products on and good old footwork and flyers
Advertising is the best way when you don't have a store front with visability and foot traffic.
Good website is the best,
if you don’t have one you need to get on line. Example etsy etc.
