If you were offered a new job which entailed a big move, how would you go about explaining that you are happy staying at your own business?

If you had to choose between a carrier and a major move and a new job but a different level doing what you love to do. How . What would be one of the things to do first.. And keep everything in balance

First I would talk with my wife and family. I would  then look very closely at the offer being given to me. Is the family was supportive of the move it  would be given serious consideration.

I would say, "thank your for the offer, but I am happy staying at my own business."

There's no point in putting too much butter on your toast.

Julie,  if you are happy where you are then say No Thanks not interested. I turned down a very big job in SF Bay area for 6 digits a number  of years ago and I am still happy with my choice. You need to be happy what you are doing.

Thank you, Dan van Burn, for answering me, family first. But what if you are single.

Is it a place you would want to live in, could you be happier there, consider the stress levels, and sometimes it's not always about money. working at a job you love doing is important.  not many people can say they love their job. A company should appreciate that loyalty

Do what makes you the happiest.
