How can we find sponsors for a female focused magazine?
We're looking for sponsors for the next issue. We know you probably don't need to advertise, but Belong depends onto support of its community to keep going. We'd love to invite you into the loop! Interested?

Always interested in trying to be of help. To try to answer your question, what is the focus of the magazine. For example, is it health and fitness, lifestyle, love and relationships?? How many copies are manufactured? Is it a weekly, monthly or quarterly magazine? What’s your readership, 1000, 5000, 10,000, etc?
One way to attract sponsors can be to offer potential advertisers a certain number of issues, where their ads can be seen for a specific amount of capital.
Another is to do a partnership, with a business or company, that assist in paying for the manufacturing of the magazine and they get free ad space. Just a couple of thoughts. Let me know if you have any other questions. Blessings to you !!
the hot one is spa's that do everything facial..........
fashion boutiques..........
medical doctors that do lazer, face lifts etc........
fine dining
also women buy 50% of automobiles.......
I would make a target list of places women go. For instance, hair salons or nail places, women's boutiques, flower shops, etc. Then I'd do a google search and find every business near you that fits those categories and reach out to each. From experience, in person sales are much easier than over the phone. It's easy for people to say no on the phone. These businesses would want to advertise in your magazine to reach the female demo that you're offering.
Look for the ones wearing those pink hats. You know the ones. Where'd they all go anyway? Seemed really popular there for a while. Trendy like everything else we guess, just out of style now. Don't see those hats much anymore.
Hope this helps!
Ask to present at local civic organizations.
We need more information to understand what you are doing. Female focused does not give a lot of info...mama-baby, gyn?, sports, social issues...hum?
Most shows start their search for sponsors by approaching businesses sympathetic to their cause, topic or voice. As in "help us give women a voice". But the problem with that approach is it only goes so far. Supporting noble causes only lasts so long, particularly if the sponsors don't see any direct benefit or return. That's why we also say to our hosts "don't just sell the potential of your audience (which ultimately may be hard to prove with any sort of tangible metrics). Sell them the content you'll create for them as part of their sponsorship of your show. "How much would you contribute to help me get my show launched? Not much." But how much would you pay to physically get in front of people" or "get actual content each month which you can use in your own social media, websites, newsletters, etc? "I'd pay a lot for that". Give them a tangible return. Don't make it all about how many listeners or followers you have. Bring those people together for events where they can actually meet and talk to them. And don't just give them a "brought to you by credit", give them some self produced content they can use OUTSIDE of your show or magazine. "Today's tip of the week...brought to you by our sponsor, XYX". Now when look back 3 months later and say "what did we get out of this sponsorship" they can point to some tangible "touch points" and/or tangible pieces of content which they then used to drive people to their site, keep them there longer and bring them back more often." Give...don't just ask.
Give your customers a trial advertising run to entice them. If they like what you have to offer, then make it worth their while and offer them something better than the competition.
And yes I am interested.
Best regards.
It would be good to find a sponsor for a women ‘s publication
don't take this the wrong way but you get up out of your chair and you go talk to businesses who are trying to reach women through products and that are obvious choices for the demographic this is a very rudimentary process that requires work they don't come to you you've got to establish the relationship and go find them.
