IF you have employees then: the book is: The Birth of the Chaordic Age by Dee Hock. If it is just you, then this book is interesting but may not be relevant.
Dee Hock was the person who created the Visa Credit Card company. It was how he **created** that company, not where it wound up now (giant unfriendly company like so many others where customers are now prey.)
So do not toss out this background. He created a company based on self organizing principles where the company grew based on employees creating their own solutions vs. senior management telling them what to do. It worked and it is very interesting reading.
I have just read Alan Alda's new book If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face?
