What's the Best Way to Attract New Bookkeeping/accounting Clients?

I am a new bookkeeping firm (provide bookkeeping and other financial services) and am looking to expand my client list... Marketing is not my strong suit but I am willing to do whatever it takes to build customers. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Word of mouth, referrals and Socisl Media is a place to star

Sales sales sales is how to get the clients you want. Door to door and with Lead lists. Having built to over 300 monthly clients this will be the way for growth-check out PASBA regarding this.

A combination of networking, a professional online presence, and reaching out to prospective sources of referrals (bankers, lawyers, accounting firms) and even directly to your target customers will work for most bookkeeping and accounting firms. For more information go here.

If you are in the mood for promotion for free almost everywhere, best to look into what I can do. My profile gives you the nutshell idea. Can't promise this will work in your profession, but if you get back to me, I will look more closely. If it will work, your participation and knowledge is unnecessary.

Current clients are your best asset. Let them know that you are open for additional clients and they will advertise for you if they value the work provided

My best clients are referrals from other clients and financial planners ( I am a tax preparer/bookkeeper but not a financial planner). I also joined a networking group (BNI) that helped me meet other professionals from other types of businesses that was a great re ferral source.
