Where do you host your website?

I'm currently hosting with BluDomain and have been affected by their recent server crash.  They were able to get my website back up, but I'm still having trouble with it.  Who do you use, and are you happy with their service?
Thanks!

Because I do photography, I use Smugmug. I also utilized the services of a graphic artist , Donna Hummer, to make it that much more professional.

I currently use Wix but I'm not 100% happy with, I've just put so much into it's hard to turn around and start over. I've heard good things about Word Press! Though not too sure about other locations to get domain names...

Hi Mari,

Looks like we have some things in common, and I feel your pain. We have so many people coming to use with this kind of nightmare. As a brand and marketing agency, our goal is to be sure our clients do not have to deal with the kind of issues you are going through, and dial them with best website builder options so they can put their energy where they would like to... connecting with clients/customers and seeing profits.

Since you posted this, it may be that you have already got this worked out. If not, I would be honored to help dial you in with the most fitting hosting and site review to be sure you get exactly what you need and only what you need, as well as make sure you are getting the results you are looking for from your site.

You may already know this, but there are platforms like Squarespace where everything is already ready for you.., you just get to build (including pros like: hosting, server, security, back-ups, data support/export if you decide to ever leave, analytics, good looking templates, good customer support, decent pricing, etc.) and again, all you do is build your site. There are some cons, which include the fact that a Squarespace site is ultimately owned/developed by them, even though you do the building. The advanced marketing side is also lacking, although there are some basic methods you can use to get traffic to your site. If you are interested in learning about how a Squarespace site might be a good option, and get a good feel for what it takes to  build one, we recently posted a full web class How to build your Epic Website on Squarespace, and you can see that here: Master Class - Week 6 - How to build your Epic Website on Squarespace

Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions at all.

In your corner,

My Scottsdale web design company only uses Siteground. They've been rated the best hosting company for the last several years in a row for customer service (available 24/7 on the phone- like a real person!), speed, and amount of uptime (99.999% uptime). They also have free security and speed upgrades.

Jim Coefield does my website work and he manages my hosting. He does an exceptional job. I should know I did this kind of work in the late 90s. My domain is owned through GoDaddy however they did not have all the bells and whistles I wanted so Jim built it for me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jim for all of your needs, he is local and very professional as well as reasonable for pricing. Jim's contact information is [email address] phone number is ‭(406) 880-6954‬

I used Site Ground for 4 years now, after getting crappy service from others like Go Daddy and Blue Host. What is awesome at Site Ground is the help is Chat generated and if they can't resolve the issue in a few minutes they have a second tier that will look and usually repair the issue in about a half hour. However for my customers I do all this for them and keep the site running.

I have been using Bluehost for over 12 years and have a DPS with them since they were introduced several years ago. On my DPS is where web, email, wordpress are located. Also use AWS for storing additional data, as well as a backup, BC/DR site, also use Azure.

I've been with Godaddy for over twenty years for several sites I own and in the past few years hosted one on Host Gator. In the future I think I'm moving all my business over to Host Gator.

I got tired of dealing with most people I have used we will not name any names some were better than others especially my next to last one I just needed to reign in some financials and decided just to go back to Godaddy which I did and now I have an email hosted through them running outlook through exchange.
