Local relationships are very important for my business as meeting in person on a routine basis is essential (I have done a little on-line training and my clients prefer in person).  I also agree that word of mouth is important and in fact was equal to networking in person for lead generation for years, however my website and social media platforms are now my primary sources of new clientele.
