I believe that good customer service is where it begins. You could have middle of the road coffee but if you make them feel important as they walk through the door they will come back ever time. Who doesn't want to feel important? Try a Birthday coffee... free coffee and treat on their birthday. You are acknowledging the customer on their day. Just a thought. A smile and handshake goes a long way making each person who walks through your door feel special.
