My business is booming like never before! Unfortunately, I turn potential clients away every day because I cannot find help. No one wants to work. I could offer them the world, but they are much happier sucking off the government t!t and watching tic tok videos.

If only I could find someone with some work ethics, we could both be on our way to retirement in the next few years!

Well, I think there has never been a time in my 50 years of doing business here (1970) it has ever been normal so to speak. Recessions plus government intervention has always made business challenging here as well as business ups and downs. 9/11 and events like that also proved challenging. You just have to fight through the next crisis, that's how business legends are made not by smooth sailing but by crashing through the waves to the next side. I may not have been in Real Estate but certainly with Home Builders as clients I would suffer the same obstacles as they did over the years.

Every item we buy from vendors goes up every time we buy it. In the old days we would raise prices once a year. Now every shipment we get

This is why federal contracting is the best way to scale your business. Our government has a budget each year to allocate towards small business development. While our city, county, and surrounding areas are becoming dry with work; the government has more jobs available then businesses to fulfill them.

This has been a particularly difficult season for many businesses.  I came from the packaging industry.  Business was very strong, however, we were squeezed by the supply chain issues and difficulty attracting and keeping enough employees to fill the orders.

Even asking the question is ludicrous.  Inflation is horrible, and we are in a recession by definition.  One of the dumbest questions ever.

I am in the home care business.  Our business has only continued to grow due to COVID and the desire for families to keep loved ones in their own home and not risk them becoming sick or even terminally ill through exposure of virus and diseases from other residents.  The federal governments focus on in home care doesn't hurt either.
