Amen Steve Rugg ! As long as you own your own business there will always be challenges and crisis to navigate. Just ask the person who owns your place of employment,
I believe we can make it threw the inflation if we keep control of our expenses..but we can't grow without out workers ..which for some reason are not available..or don't want to work..
Constructive recommendation for the wording. The slight reduction in the inflation rate does not mean we have “relief” from inflation. It just means that instead of costs going up at an annualized rate of 9.1% they are now increasing by 8.5% (as of last numbers I have seen) which is a slight reduction in rate but not in overall prices.
On top of inflation hurting us, there has been numerous out of state contractors taking business from us locals.
Well, the CPI doesn't include food or energy. And it uses a ridiculous estimate for housing. So, like many things told to us by corrupt politicians, the idea that "inflation is down" is just another lie. Perhaps some things are slightly less expensive, but the necessities of life are all WELL above the 2% annual target. And conveniently changing the definition of a recession doesn't change the fact that we're in one.

As an owner of an online retail e-commerce company one would except that our sales are booming buts it's not. MDQ2 is feeling the grunt of the high gas prices. It comes down to a family making a choice of feeding their family or buying clothes and etc.
This has set my small business to an almost hault.
My buisness is based on word of mouth referrals. I investigate all manner of criminal and civil issues Legal firms are a big part of my buisness. Families with young people in trouble or headed that way also are part of my experience base. I am a retired RCMP member who was in media relations drug investigations and major criminal events. Turning young troubled youth around was a big part of my experience base.
This administration is beyond a joke, it is affecting hard working people the most, while politicians make money off of their political positions......This administration is an embarrassment to the world, especially to our allies.
