What kind of client do you prefer?

Do you prefer a client with no knowledge of your product or service and you get to build them up, or do you like a client that has a foundation in your product or service?

Of course I enjoy working with the prospect that has done a lot of leg work in the internet. That client has educated himself and therefore it is an easier client and buying or selling process is shorter...

My ideal customer is an individual, couple or family that wishes to establish a long-term relationship with a reputable, ethical custom jeweler and Gemologist.

If they have no understanding of what you do, why are they coming to you?

In my business no prior knowledge is a huge benefit!  No bad habits lol.

It doesn’t matter I adjust my approach to their knowledge.

One that's smart enough / responsible enough to know and understand that he or she doesn't know everything and will accept and implement advice, etc.

I will fire clients who don't listen.

We like clients who need our services and appreciate the services that we in fact provide to them.

I have no preference as to the knowledge or experience of my clients as regards the real estate industry.  One can make a greater number of assumptions in discussions with experienced clients, regarding how the industry works; however, it is important to be just as honest and forthcoming with someone unfamiliar with the industry, as with someone who is more knowledgeable due to more experience.  One builds trust by being scrupulously honest.

I like both kind of clients this way I have opportunities to explain and give knowledge of my products to people who don't know anything about products and services they can have but on the other hand people who already have knowledge I can teach them how to get better and save more for themselves  in the products and services they already have.

I like a client that wants visibility. Our Chronicle publications give that visibility in areas that the client is interested in. We publish free newspapers in 13 counties in Illinois, providing articles of local and national interest.
