Yes, but the art we purchased wasn't for investment precisely. The pieces spoke to our hearts. To date, we have over two dozen works by a number of artists. A few pieces have increased considerably in value, although we have no intention of selling, at least at this point. Art can be a good investment. The problem is knowing what will increase in value...just like the stock market. Here's an exceptional case. Maud Lewis, from Marshalltown, Nova Scotia, sold her folk art pieces for $2.00 and eventually up to $5.00 before passing in 1970. Today they fetch between $7 and $20 thousand. One sold for a grand total of $45.000.

So a word to the wise, today, you may purchase one of my new Plyatism 4x6 original acrylic paintings for $25.00 (matted). Stock up now so in the future when they take off like Maud's, you'll cash in big time. Haaa!
