Unfortunately Obamacare has placed limitations on the options available to you ..You could approach your Husbands Group Provider and a “ COBRA “ option ..You could enroll in a “ Short Term “ Plan for up to One Year in most states ..You could tigger a “ Special Enrollment Period “ and enroll in an ACA plan ...None of these options is the best ..They ALL depend upon your family’s needs and desires ..I hope this is helpful ..Please feel free to ask...

Insurance companies should be able to offer underwritten rates and ACA compliant rates. Both sets of rates should fund the WHOLE block of business.
