Realtors, what type of closing gifts do you normally do?

I use personally chosen gifts. I pick things that I've gleaned from conversations with clients.  However, I'm intrigued by your card service. Waiting to hear more on that.

I need a service like this for gifts. Love a small basket of annuals for a replant in the new garden;Or herbs perhaps!

I provide a token of my appreciation to my clients, referral partners, etc. for each real estate transaction. I put thought into my selection and make each gift unique, I’m always looking for additional resources. Please send website information when available. 

My closing gifts to my buyers is a Homeowner's Portfolio Book. It has folders in it to keep all of your important documents from deeds to HOA Assoc. information.  Also, any home improvements made like painting and you can write down the color of the paint and the formula in the book.  But I think the best part is it contains a plastic card holder for business cards, so what I do is put business cards of the people that made this transaction happen from my card to the title company used and home inspector, etc. Then I put business cards of people that I personally use for air conditioning, hair salons, nail techs, electrician, etc. My buyers LOVE this book, especially buyers from out of state.  They are lost when it comes to who to use for hair and nails, etc. And also dentist, Doctors, etc.  This works for me. 

My closing gifts tend to be tailored to the client. You cant give a bottle of wine to everyone. Especially if they're sober. It would have to be a very generic basket, for me to give to everyone.

LIke Mindy,  I make up a similar basket that says "Move in Survival kit", it is so appreciated by my buyers.  It depends on the client, sometimes I give cutco knives which are engraved with my contact information.  I like the house warming party idea...I haven't pulled this off yet, I have tried a couple of time...just couldn't get it accomplished for different reasons.

They have varied from a pizza delivered on moving day to restaurant gift certificates to a special gift reflecting their interests, such as something for their garden or yard.  I have found that gift certificates with local businesses work well in keeping our company on the top of people's minds as well.
